The main responsibility is to prepare proposals for our clients by determining concepts gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and completing final edits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, interviewing contributors as needed, and coordinating submissions.
- Creates strategic messaging, tailors proposal content, and contributes to the strategy and/or editing of the proposal responses and library content.
- Maintains quality results by following proposal-writing standards including standard language, readability, consistency, and tone.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and effective content.
- Edit documents to verify accuracy, consistency, grammar, and format.
- Meets deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering writing, review, and approval; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings.
- Support in editing proposals
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of proposal writing experience; OR
- 5 years of experience and proven track record in RFP proposal writing
- Superlative written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and formulate them into concise written form.
- Ability to incorporate proposal theme and strategy throughout the response.
- Strong self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Process-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work products under deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with and build rapport with varying types of personalities.
